The screen gets stuck at Loading Badlion 3.0I tried force close with task manager and it did nothing

SAME! it loads up to a point where less than a quarter remains and then the loading bar has a literal seizure, but it just doesn't launch. I am trying to load 1.16.5 by the way, and I haven't checked if it works with Badlion 3.0 disabled.Edit: ok so I tried to disable Badlion 3.0 with the switch on the launcher screen and it just says, "this version is still in development and will be released soon" when I click "launch" so yeah, no clue what to do.
Edit 2: I also tried 1.8.9, and it launches fine, so idk, also I don't think we have the same problem since I can easily close the frozen loading screen.

i have the same problem but i have found a couple work arounds that might work.i found that it was a combo of blc 3, optifine and the texture pack scale. the texture pack had to be 256 or below or either blc or optifine turned off. so try below and see if this helps.1) turn off blc 3
2) or if you insist on blc 3 turn off optifine
3) if you insist on optifine then check your texture pack you are using. mine was a 512x texture pack that made it hang. i could use all others (16,32,64,128,256)
4) in order to get it to start if you insist on blc 3 and optifine with a different texture pack you will need to get to your minecraft folder and go to teh recource packs folder and take out the offending texture pack.

I get the exact same problem when loading BL3 and the same things happen. Loading BL 1.8.9 is fine it is just 1.16.4Posted on 18 January 2021 - 04:22 PM
