Press The Windows Icon Then Search run Then Click The run Application In The run Search Bar Type %appdata% Then You Will See A .minecraft Folder Rename It To "minecraft" (Without The Quotes), Once That's Done Go To The Minecraft Launcher And Launch Vanilla 1.8.9 Once Thats Done Create A New Vanilla World And let It Load In, Once You Load In Save And Exit Then Exit Minecraft 1.8.9 Now Go To Badlion Client And Try Launching 1.8.9.——————————————————————————————————————————————-

The -23 error means that something on your computer is blocking the Badlion Client connections. Disable firewall (software and hardware), antivirus, and VPNs.You can also try to change your DNS to Google's or Cloudflare's DNS and see if it helps. If you don't know how to do it, check the two Youtube videos below.
