Final Heals
I made this exact post in the host area but I wanted to know what the players thought.

Every host has a different time when the final heal.

Pros?

Some players like the earlier heals
Hosts have more control

Cons?

Inconstancy
Spam from players
Players taking huge damage early game and ruining their whole experience
Streamers don't know what to expect when they join a game

The only reason we had a 10 minute heal for so long is because when UHC was launched, the server would lag a bit after scatter. Its good enough to handle it now and a heal is no longer justified.


5 minute heals are adequate in my opinion. What about yours?

1 minute, no reason to take early damage or any damage, it's uhc.

Agree But there is new players that don't know how to play that well without taking damage so I voted 5minutes.

1 minute and in response to mineguins argument, people are too good already and if people want to get good then they need to learn the hard way. If you are looking to become extremely good at uhc badlion isn't the place to do it with the 300- 400 player games

same, but I'm against the heals because it's not even "UHC" if you get healed. Ruins the point in the game imo

PvE is already easy enough on this server with the limited amounts of mobs spawning, I wouldn't normally give a 1 minute heal but because everyone are used to there's being a final heal so I give one, I just don't get the point of the 10 minute heals, it ruins the PvE aspect and the whole "Hard Core" feel for me.

But yes I think it should be in /config so that donator+ who join late know when the final heal is.
And yeah I understand the 10 minute heal was because the servers used to lag at the start before, but that's no longer the case, so I don't see why we should keep it.

I know Badlion doesn't want to be too much like Twitter/Reddit UHC's but I like how after scatter is done they heal(Sometimes also 30sec-1min in) This heals the scatter damage and give time to jump off a tree if landed on one. I voted 1min for this reason.

Personally, I feel it depends on the game. If there are over a hundred non-donators then the spam will occur regardless. The only way to avoid this is by having a ten minute heal so they have less "things" to complain and bitch about. However, for more hardcore UHC's with only 10-20 slots for non-donors I would say a 1 minute heal is sufficient because it heals scatter damage and yolo'ing down trees. NOTE: As we know donator+ can join a UHC 20 minutes after starting, because of this, if it is after the scatter heal they will hold on to the bullshit damage that they could not have avoided, if there is a way to proc a heal for donator+ when they join a game late I think it would help.

I like the idea of 1 minute heals. I'd say no heals altogether but just in case someone lags or gets suffocation damage when spawning.

Oh I also think it's stupid that you're asking the community to vote. Obviously they will vote for 10 minute heals just so people can be careless in the first 10 minutes of a UHC.
