I do love how the report system works; but whenever i play on servers with report i try and report what i see not what they have so mods can trust me a bit more. With the way the report system is now you can't really do that. What im suggesting is that you have an option to add more about what you see to other possiblyPosted on 06 March 2015 - 03:31 AM
I'm confused as to what you are suggesting.Posted on 06 March 2015 - 04:27 AM
I think what he means is this: you used to be able to put some extra info into the reports like little side notes, you can't do that anymore. What I suggest is you allow the players to do /report <name> <reason> and then the gui will pop up. So you can report some one for let's say ddos threats and then select other.Posted on 06 March 2015 - 03:18 PM
@MasterGberry kinda what djcdylan said; allowing to add more information when u report someone for other so mods can see what someone is reporting someone for "other"Posted on 06 March 2015 - 03:20 PM
The problem is people were abusing the /report system way too much with CAPS and stupid things/reasons.If you think there is something that is commonly reported and we do not have it please let us know and we will add it instead :)

@MasterGberry well there is other hacks other than ff/kill aura. Maybe have a category for other hacks as other doesn't really do that very well for other hacks wisePosted on 06 March 2015 - 05:17 PM

We have several hack categories already in the /report system
As previously mentioned I would rather add the missing categories

Really not a big fan of the new report system but I can understand where you guys are coming from in terms of people abusing /report.Guess we have to deal with changes like these because in the end it makes it easier for mods

There were some new additions to the back-end of it also that makes it easier for mods to identify people who keep getting reported. They are flagged with higher priority.
