I tried to use the launcher and instead got the prompt that my graphic drivers were out of date, so I updated my AMD drivers and restarted my pc. When I got back into the launcher, it still gave me the same prompt even after updating the drivers. Help? I tested the default version of minecraft and lunar client, both work fine. I don't know why I'm having this issue. Just stays on "launching", then nothing happens.

Hey, are you using a dedicated Graphics card such as a RX570, RX5700XT etc?

If so please make sure your system is set to use this card and not an integrated graphics built into the CPU.
