Hi Badlion community,

I'm sure most of you play in this server to have fun. Or atleast you are trying to. But there is a problem that has become worse lately that takes all the fun to the game. It is running. I understand that you have run around a bit to refill, eat food or gapple, or regen some health in non-pot ladders. But some people do it just to piss off people who are trying to have fun.

Like ten minutes ago, I was playing a Last Man Standing, with Diamond kit. I was doing good for some random reason, killing people and stuff. It was only between me and a guy, and whoever survives wins the LMS. I ready my sword, take a long breath, and go for it. But what does the guy do? He starts running away. He only stops to eat, then he continues running away. Bow skills are useless because of the Projectile Protection armor, so the only thing that I can do is to chase him. I even left him to recover some health, but whenever I stop he stops, and whenever I run he runs away. I call NitroxAura and he says "running is legal" I literally spent 4-6 minutes chasing him, until he randomly lags out and I kill him, winning the LMS.

Why is this allowed? I thought it wasn't, but when I read the rules it specifies



So, running away to draw a ranked match isn't allowed, but running away just to piss off people playing a LMS, a War, or an unranked match is allowed? Why? I see no sense here. Running harms the server, because more arenas are occupied and in the case of LMS and Wars, you waste arenas that could be used by people to fight and have some fun, I do really think that running for more than one minute straight, should be kick-able.

Post your thoughts down below and lets hope someone does something about this, because it's starting to piss me off.

I think everyone can agree that having to chase someone sucks.

+1 that running for more than a minute straight is a kickable offense

I've talked about this with other staff members, and we all agreed. As you said, some people spend running away from you a long while, to run down debuffs, to draw a ranked match, to piss you off… These 2 first are the reason why camping is not allowed, as stated on the holy rules



As the aim of both are the same, i would say they both have to be punishable offenses.

I haven't decided anything, I don't think running is bad at all and if you can't kill someone who's simply sprinting around in circles then you don't deserve the win in my eyes
