the only thing worse then normal cheaters are closet cheaters. When someones blatantly hacking using KA, bhopping, or even flying it's quite obvious that their cheating. But closet cheaters use cheats that make you second guess if they're cheating or not. If your really good at the game and really have the muscle memory/game knowledge you can tell when someones using +0.1-0.4 extra reach. IDK how this would work or if it is possible but I think it's a mod that should 100% be added if possible. The idea is that it'll tell you the distance at which the last player hit you at was from, you would obviously have to turn off detection on things like potions, and bow shots, and limit it to just punching using whatever item from sword to blocks. But essentially this mod would tell you if someone's using reach hacks, this way you can make sure to report them to the server's anticheat, since most closet cheaters go unnoticed since its quite hard to detect an external client giving you +0.2 reach. Now the obvious issue with this is that they might use the reach hack, but be so close to you that it never triggers the mod, since even if you have 69 block reach you can still hit players 1 block in front if you so the mod wouldn't go off, but I think the idea itself still stands. Because it's not impossible that they won't hit your from the perfect _ distance way which will tell you their max reach, for example if they're chasing right behind you (plus all they have to do is hit you over a certain number). Overall I think it would help reduce the amount of closet cheaters, and help people tell if others are cheating or not. Hopefully this is a possible mod but again idk, but if possible it would definitely be useful.

Not possible, considering the server anticheat wasn't able to detect the hacker, a minecraft mod wouldn't be able too deeming the mod useless. And the reach would only say 5-6 blocks.
