i open badlion client i chose 1.8.9 blc 3 and optifine then i click the launch button and it goes forever and not even launching. this been working yesterday but i don't know why it doesn't work right now.Any Fix?

I was able to find and delete the corrupted versions, but I still can't quit either Badlion or Minecraft. If this helps, im using MacOS 10.10.5 (A fossil), and the text at the top of my MC says this "Badlion Minecraft Client v2.17.2-48ca8fa-PRODUCTION (1.8.9)" It is only showing black on screen, and I am unable to close the window or quit it, and I can't open Badlion again either.Last edited on 06 April 2021 - 11:50 PM by *deleted-2343587

I figured it out. Since I'm on MacOS there is a command (option-command-escape) that gives you the ability to force quit applications. As soon as I force quit Minecraft, Badlion opened back up and all is saved. Thanks for the help!Posted on 07 April 2021 - 07:57 AM
