PC lag after installing badlion 3.0 update
Hi, so a few months ago, I installed a badlion 3.0 update. Before installing the update, my pc was doing fine, I could play fortnite with no lag at 200+fps, and have 0 lag while editing videos in premiere pro etc. But after installing the update, I started getting so much lag in fortnite, and a lot of fps spikes. And I also found out that premiere pro started lagging. I get a lot of audio lag while editing in premiere pro, and also get some when Minecraft just launched. At first I thought it was just becuase Badlion broke some of my drivers, so I didn't really do anything since that Minecraft would still run fine and I don't play a lot of fortnite or edit videos. But yesterday, I reinstalled my whole system on an Western Digital sn850 ssd and wiped the old system on my other ssd. I thought my lag problems would be fixed since I installed brand new drivers on my new system, but when I tested out the games and premiere pro, I found out I still have the same problems and still gets a ton of lag in Fortnite and Premiere pro, and my audio lagging during game launches.. I have an AMD Ryzen 3700x and 32GB 3600mhz ram, WD sn850 1TB and an RTX 2080super. I'm just asking if anyone's also getting this problem, and is this problem caused by hardware problems.

Thank you very much and have a good day! :D

Hi,

Make sure that all of your drivers are up to date, as well as your graphics card. When they’re not up to date it can cause slowness and lag.

I made sure all my drivers are up to date, I even reinstalled my system yesterday and installed new drivers, and I still have the same problem. Is it because of my hardware thats broken or something?

I have an RTX 2080super, which I really think shouldn't lag. And like I said above, a few months ago, before installing a 3.0 update, everything was fine and I could run on high fps in fortnite. I am really confused about why I'm still getting the same lag problems after reinstalling my system and all the drivers and wiping all the softwares.

I’ll look into it and hopefully someone will be able to get back to you.

Thank you! Do you think it's a hardware problem? I am really confused since if its a software problem it should be fixed by now, since I completely reinstalled my system on a brand new ssd i got yestserday and isntalled all the newest drivers from official websites. I have a new system, so if its a software problem, technically it should be gone since it happened after me updating badlion client, and since I don't even have badlion rn on my new system. So I'm just really confused, is it because of badlion did something to my hardware?
