Changing Gamma Causes Lighting Issue

I'm trying to change my gamma to 5 in options.txt (I prefer it over Fullbright because you can still see things like torchlight, lava light, and I'm used to using gamma 5 from speedrunning on Fabric). Whenever I do change the gamma and relaunch the game I get a lighting issue as shown in the picture. Simply, some blocks like stairs and slabs have a "dark spot." I'm using Badlion Client 1.16.5, Optifine, BLC 3.0, with Fullbright mod disabled.Image of Lighting Issue (1)

BTW, this is not just a Hypixel thing

Hello, Wolf11.Can you try removing your options.txt and restarting your Badlion? This problem happened to me once and that Is what fixed it.
