I went on version 1.8.9 (Optifine). The survival world got corrupted. I had all my inventory items, same coords, but the world was different. I have went on my backup. Even from JANUARY. Still corrupted.
I have been working on this forever.
Please help.

Hey there,
Sorry to hear about that. Optifine is known to corrupt worlds and cause missing chunks. A couple things you could do are:
- Confirm that you’re using the correct version for the world.
- Try without optifine.
- Try on normal vanilla minecraft

I cannot undo the OptiFine world save. So that is the issue.
