When I have enchant glint on the entire hotbar slot is shiny (in chests it is normal) and when I have enchant glint off there is no glint so I can't figure out how to get vanilla glint.

Hello jovinky,

You can reset the enchantment glint to the vanilla style by simply resetting the EnchantGlint mod in the "Right Shift" menu.

Enable Fast Render in Mc settings
Mc settings > Video Settings > Fast Render
