badlion client making my pc overheat

when i play on lunar or on forge even i have from 55-60 degrees on my cpu while on blc i have 70 ish. i have vsync on so thats not causing issue.Last edited on 25 May 2021 - 12:30 PM by NoYouDefend
hello,it's recommended to set the fps limit to Unlimited and Allocate 2048mb Ram in the launcher.
And Lower Your Minecraft settings if you have them set on Very High.

hello, thanks for your reply! problem is my screen is only 60hz while my graphics card is not that bad so i get about 250 fps with unlimited which results in screen tearing and even more overheating… and + i dont even play the game when my laptop gets overheated, when i launch badlion it skyrockets to 70 degrees(cpu). i already have my ram set to 2gb even tho my pc has 6gb of ram.Posted on 26 May 2021 - 03:09 PM

hello, i found the solution to the problem. due to my computer not having good coolers i had my maximum processor state at 99% to disable turbo boost of my cpu, i dont know why but enabling turbo boost actually improved temperatures while playing on badlion. thanks for your help anyways!Posted on 27 May 2021 - 11:38 AM
