No Custom Textures with Better Vanilla Building pack

I use the Better Vanilla Building Resource Pack. It has connected textures and custom textures. Namely, the armor and tools can have custom textures by renaming them. I just started using the client, and now the armors are no longer the custom textures that come with the pack. Everything else is the same though. Hello,Do You have “blc3” and “optifine” Checked in the launcher?
If You do try enabling “Connected textures” in Quality Settings
Press esc > Mc Settings > Video Settings > Quality.

Yep it's all checked, and connected textures is on. I even enabled and disabled all the mods. Connected blocks and even custom tools seem to work, it's just the custom armors that come from renaming them.
