I am really pissed off right now (NEU)

Recently badlion added "NEU" to its mods list, but the thing is, they removed every useful feature of NEU. I am a regular forge user, and when I heard badlion had added more skyblock mods, I actually expected something of badlion for once. The sheer audacity to even call this mod NEU is shocking. What the hell?Posted on 29 May 2021 - 11:58 AM
The NEU mod will be getting more features in later updates. Some settings of the mod have been moved to the Skyblock Addons mod.

Truth of the matter is, BLC literally had the biggest window open for themselves. Moulberry personally offered to work on NEU on BLC so that they don't end up messing up the code and implementation, which would lead to somewhat bad views about the mod itself. BLC ended up declining this offer, stating that they would like to "code it themselves inhouse", basically stabbing themselves in the foot in my honest opinion. Another think to note is the fact that they ended up adding features of Skytils and Danker's Skyblock Mod into their "SkyblockAddons Mod" instead of a separate Skytils, Danker's Skyblock and/or even a "Dungeon Solvers" mod. I personally really do not like the fact that BLC does not even credit the original mod creators, atleast by using the name of the mod itself. Lunar does a much better job of this by actually stating at the top who the original mod creator was. Moreover, adding the features to SBA inside BLC even further cluttered the mod options GUI for SBA, which was way too full because of the fact that they are using a UI/UX concept that revolves around very few features being inside a single module. Moreover, the plain fact that they only now have started to work on a new HUD positioning system really frightens me. I personally logged on the other day on BLC just to see even the solvers were any good, and the first thing I see is the keystrokes mod looking 10x uglier than it used to, with all the letters and objects off centred. Moreover, the GUI snapping as also bad mainly due to the fact that the visual boxes for the HUD are way off from the actual coded positions for them, which makes it look even uglier. The only thing BLC has going for it that Lunar does not now is its new mostly broken but sometimes working solvers which are clear to say that they haven't been properly beta tested at all, and the amount of customisation you get. Otherwise, Forge and Lunar are much better alternatives in my opinion.
