hi i allready did this post a while ago but i can't up it so i will just copy paste it here since the problem is still unsolved

hi, i love playing with badlion since it has great mods and a huge boost of fps with the new blc 3.0 but i'm forced to go on lunar since the badlion client 3.0 suffer from serious memory leak.
i set my ram allocated properly to 4 gb (i have 16) but when i play the ram usage of badlion goes through the roof and can take more than 90% of my total ram of my pc (like 14 gigs if i let it run) causing my entire system to lag just because of badlion
i noticed that it mostly happen when my game is alt tabed
my memory usage while in f3 is perfectly normal, it just consume more and more ram with the time passing.
it doesnt happen with other launcher or with badlion 2.0
it's been a month since i got the problem, i didn't had it before and i was hoping it will be fixed without me writing a post"

that was my previous post like 5 or 6 month ago i'm not sure, but i found out that the memory only goes up when the game is alt tab and is litteraly static when i'm in game, this time i will answer any question not like my previous post where i stopped playing minecraft for a while and forgot about my post.

Hey,

Allocating too much ram can cause lag. Try allocating less than 4GB, the recommended is 2048MB.
1024 = 1GB

thanks for responding but you are missing the point, blc client doesn't care about allocated ram and go through anyway, plus my system can largely bear 4gb

Hm, I'm not too sure why it's an issue. Do you have optifine enabled?

submit a bug report at the bottom of the launcher explaining the issue so the dev can find why badlion take so much memory when you already allocate
