Hi,
Earlier on today I reinstalled Badlion client as well as tested BLC3 as I was struggling to get onto Hypixel and thought perhaps this could fix it. I discovered it was an issue at Hypixel's end, however when I logged on, I noticed that my mod presets have all disappeared. I don't know why this has happened, but I do have a file in my mod profiles of my old mod presets. I tried to add the mod presets using the little file icon, however it just takes me to the file (which is a notepad file), and all I can do is open it, nothing works.

Hey!

I’d assume your BLC profile is from 2.0 if you have just switched to 3.0. Please follow the instructions to convert the mod profile so it works; https://www.badlion.net/wiki/how-to-convert-mod-profiles

Hi, I appreciate you getting back to me.
I have tried to do those steps however I don't have the (i) symbol.

As you can see there isn't an i, so when I'm trying to upload a mod profile, nothing is happening

Hello,

Were these profiles from 2.0, or were they working on 3.0 at some point? Try navigating to %appdata%/.minecraft/ manually through your computer's file browser, and look for this folder:
See if your mod profiles that have disappeared are still in that folder. (If you were using these profiles in 2.0, there's a chance that they could be in a folder called "BLClient-Mod-Profiles-1.8", or some other version. If this is the case, move all the mod profiles from those other folders into the one shown in the image above, which is the one for 3.0)

If they did work in 3.0 at one point, it could possibly be that the profiles got corrupted, or it was just a weird fluke that it wasn't loading any profile correctly. Log onto BLC 3.0 and join a single player world, then check if your profiles are there.

Let me know if none of this works, and I'll see if someone can look into it more.

Hey,

The profiles were from BLC2.0, I made it in 2019. Basically, yesterday I reinstalled BLC and tried to use BLC3 to fix an error. I don't want to use BLC3 I want to stay on BLC2, it's just that for some reason when I converted back to using BLC2 my mods completely disappeared. I have looked in my %appdata%, and I see my old mod profile there:
This is located inside the BLCLient-Mod-Profiles-1.8 folder. I'm pretty sure that this is my old mod pack. However, the issue is when I try to go and open up this mod profile in BLC2, it's not there. My only mod showing is this: , so the mod pack I want isn't there.

I'm honestly not quite sure what has gone on here, I just know that for some reason my reinstallation of BLC made me lose my mod folder. I have the notepad of all my mod options, yet when I click the file icon (which I assume is to import into being a mod profile), nothing happens. If there's nothing that can be done, I don't mind just trying to just replicate all my mod applications, I was just a bit baffled that this had all happened.

Does Badlion Client happen to keep mod profiles incase it was deleted?
