Hey!Optifine is not working in 1.17 with BETA and debug mode and java backup installation! I have 2 reasons why it should work! The first reason is a youtuber called BastiGHG can use optifine in 1.17! If there is a way to use the preview version please tell me! The second reason is I found in the installations files an 1.17 optifine version that appeared 3-7 days ago! So please tell me now why I cannot use optifine 1.17!

Hey,If you visit the Optifine download page you'll see that Optifine for 1.17 is currently only in preview mode.
The youtuber likely used one of these preview modes in his videos.
For security and usability purposes, Optifine for 1.17 Badlion will only be supported when it is released fully. We don't open this to beta users as there isn't really anything to test or receive feedback on.

the preview version of optifine is to unstable to be supported yet so gotta wait for the full version to be release and be patient its 96% complete so stay tune for this week or next weekPosted on 07 July 2021 - 04:40 AM

Optifine will be implemented as soon as a stable version is released. Implementing a preview version is not in our interest as it is usually very unstable during that time.This thread has been locked.
