I’ve got the newest version of optifine installed and I loaded it on normal Minecraft. I also have the use optifine box checked on the launcher but for some reason I can’t use optifine and I don’t have the optifine settings. I wouldn’t mind it not working if I didn’t want to install shaders.

If your on 1.17+, its because optifine hasn't been fully released yet. We are waiting for it to be released.
