This is because OptiFine for 1.17 is not fully released yet, and is still in a development state. The BLC developers don't want to add a potentially unstable version of OptiFine to their client, so they're waiting for it to fully release before they add it.Posted on 22 July 2021 - 04:54 AM

There's no ETA for that. The Developers are working on it and it will be released as soon as possible.Eros
