Around february I decided to switch from Badlion to another pvp client (not going to mention the name since most people can guess it already) and I found myself enjoying the experience very much, I got much more fps, the mod menu looked better etc. etc.
On 4/27 this year, I wanted to play with Badlion again. I remembered it was a nice client (all pedophilia drama aside) and I liked the new UI, but my surprise was quickly turned to disappointment when I saw how the mods operated and how the fps boost changed. The crosshairs mod was very hard to use and for the life of me I couldnt make a perfect arrow crosshair and the fps boost had gotten even WORSE.
I decided to go on a server where people mostly preffer badlion and the new hats look kinda bad. They kinda remind me of Roblox cosmetics… Have a look here

Thats being said, I miss the old Badlion, the mods worked perfectly and the cosmetics looked so nice. RIP old Badlion and it's reputation.

I agree. The Lunar GUI just feels so much more neat and clean than the BLC one, and on top of that, BLC just overloads the user with mods and doesn't deliver on it's performance boost. I find that if someone wants to play skyblock, BLC is great for that, but it's no longer a PvP client… just my opinion though.

Couldn't have said it better. It isn't just Lunar. Heck. Even the default Forge keystrokes mod looks neater. Or even LabyMod. It has become a skyblock client only and it really puts it's potential to the ground.

kinda agree with the mod UI need some rework and the cosmetics dont see anything wrong with it considering badlion always make realistic cosmetics but there are some that are not realistic even the old badlion make realistics cosmetics and the fps you just turn everything in betterframes on and have optifine if it still kills your fps do this https://support.badlion.net/hc/en-us/articles/360018512459-Badlion-FPS-Debug-Log
