I can no longer use WTfast to decrease my ping.I'm not particularly technical, so I don't know why VPN's needed to be blocked, but could you please unblock WTfast? This is purely used to reduce ones ping and/or ping spikes.

You are connected to 1322 accounts. This is why we block VPNs. If we do a blanket ban on any single one of those people you will also get banned.Posted on 14 March 2015 - 02:01 AM
I fail to see how an application can make your ping better, unless it is changing the route your internet takes. That's all it can do, the internet is only as fast as the hops it goes across to get to its destination.Posted on 14 March 2015 - 04:01 AM

Here's how it helps you:When you do not use WTFast your ping is [YourRouter] connecting to [OurRouter]. So if you have a 300 ping it's because there is a 300 ping between you and our server.
When you do use WTFast your ping (AS DISPLAYED IN THE MINECRAFT SERVER LIST) is [WTFast] connecting to [OurRouter]. But that doesn't include [YourRouter] connecting to [WTFast]. So, essentially, it makes absolutely zero difference and any difference it is making is making it take longer for your packets to get to us. Any positive effect is purely placebo from the fact you think your ping is better.
The only exception is if you live in a particular area where the connection between our box and you has huge difficulties in the middle. The way to fix this is not VPN… it's to contact us and tell us where you live and we will keep track of troublesome areas and fix it as much as possible.

Bumping this because Pikauku is full of shit!There is so much more lag in my games now! I have even less chance on NA! Mobs are lag walking and hitting me when they weren't before and I keep getting knocked back 10 blocks because people get impossible double hits on me due to me lagging.
It isn't fair to punish people who are using a VPN to enjoy the game more, as well as the people who use them to actually get onto the server.
