When I downloaded badlion I put my version to 1.16.5, now I can launch and play 1.16.5 perfectly fine. But whenever I change versions, it says "patching" where it would usually say "launching". It does that for a while and then it says "error updating jar.-1 ". Does anyone know how to fix this? I really want to play on other versions besides 1.16.5, so far I have tried 1.8.9 and 1.17.1

For the record I am using optifine and BLC3 and I am on MacOS
