Did badlion change the age requirement

I recall the age requirement being 13 when I made my badlion account. (I was 12 at the time, but I'm 13 now; would I still get into trouble by admitting this) everything went smoothly for a year until I had to migrate to an xbox account. I did so, and in the vanilla launcher everything works just fine. When I try to use my xbox account to log into badlion, as I cannot use my Mojang account anymore, it says that I now have to be 18. Apparently you can't change your age on your xbox account. Only on your microsoft account, which I attempted doing. I don't feel like waiting 5 years to play badlion.Am I just screwed then?

If I am screwed should I just find another client? I don't like Lunar very much because chunks take ages to load (at least in compared to Badlion)I haven't tested anything like Pvp lounge at all
