Hello everyone! We are opening some new positions today on the Badlion Client team which I am excited to share! As Badlion Client continues to grow, we have more need for key individuals to help us grow our presence in the Minecraft community. Today, I have two new positions to share with you which I will go into detail below.

Please note: These positions will be freelancer positions, and these job positions are NOT constant hours. We will make some requests here and there to design or animate some stuff and then we will pay you for the work/time. Applicants need to be 16 or over.

Animation Artist

The animation artist should have a creative mindset with a good imagination to create various animations on the Badlion Client, via emotes and promotional material. The position will be based around promotional content for various department of the client (could be cosmetics, new feature release, skits, etc). The position will also have the possibility for the animator to help the Badlion Client create new emotes (making dances for the Minecraft character). The animator should ideally already have experience working with Minecraft styled animations, but this is not a hard requirement.

Requirements:

6+ Months of Animation experience

6+ Months of Blender experience (NOTE: You must use Blender 2.78 or 2.79 for our emote system)

Knowledge of using props (other models) in animations (e.g. a Minecraft character pulling out a bottle of water)

Discord software to communicate with the team

Join a weekly meeting (on Discord) for 30 minutes to give a status update of work/progress along with other graphics team members

Self motivated individual who can set up their own schedule to complete tasks

A flexible schedule to be able to work on the various models and projects as we ask them (we won't ask for something with a 1 day deadline. We will give you enough time to complete them)

Graphics/Video Designer

We are looking to hire an individual that is fluent in the Adobe suite (or similar) that has an eye for creating Minecraft related promotional content. The individual will be responsible for creating templates to use on the various social media sites, following guidance and instruction from our other social media team members, and making one off promotional content. We ideally want to hire someone that is comfortable with both graphics design and video design. This individual should have a very creative mindset and an eye for how to create good content for video content (e.g. they need to be able to record a scene and edit it). Below are a few examples of the work you would be creating:

Requirements

1+ Years of Graphics Design Experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere whatever you use to make awesome graphics/video content)

Discord software to communicate with the team

Able to join a weekly call with the Head of Social Media to provide status updates, share ideas, etc

Self motivated individual who can set up their own schedule to complete tasks

Ability to create content ahead of time (and occasionally on short notice) to ensure that we have a regular flow of content going out on the social media networks.

Bonus: Be up to date with various trends across social media for unique content opportunity
