Hello everyone! After our first pets release on Friday, I wanted to go over the release, the feedback given from the community and what we have planned for pets in the future!
First of all, the love shown to our new friends was amazing! Seeing all the screenshots of users with their new companion were very pleasing to see! For those who haven't fully looked into what the pets can currently do, here's a list of their settings:
While our team is quite happy with the current features, there's still A LOT more that can be done to further improve the system. In future updates, we're wanting to add these features:
In terms of pets being released, the ones being released first will be community suggestions. The more suggestions for a specific pet, the more it will be prioritize to be included in the next pack. Make sure to send us your pets suggestion via our cosmetic-suggestions, in the Badlion Client discord. I've also gotten a few suggestions to add pets accessories. While this is a cool concept (like adding a hat to your slime), it's not our major focus for the time being. We're gonna keep improving the system, and release even more cool pets for you (then potentially accessories) C:
As you can see, pets will definitely be fun to have around! Our goal will be to release a few of them every months, to give you more options for companion! Little secret, we have some pets coming with our Halloween cosmetics. Hope you're not scared of ghost or spiders!

Honestly would be cool if the pets faces would change (or players could manually change them), make a sad, angry, shocked face and like when a player is falling the turtle would get scared and hide in its shell for a few seconds.Posted on 13 October 2021 - 12:45 AM
