So when i play badlion the only version i can go on is 1.8.9 but when i click launch it says that the version is not available anymore does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey,

Try to disable any VPNs/Firewalls/Anti Virus/3rd Party Authenticators software that may be interfering with the client and fully reinstall the client. If the issue persist, please submit a bug report through the launcher.
