PC BAD = LESS FPS
Posted on 06 November 2021 - 09:42 AM
I use a bad pc, for this reason I wanted BADLION to create an option to increase more FPS, I wanted the BADLION technical team to invest in a configuration with which BADLION works on any pc.Posted on 28 November 2021 - 09:03 AM
-1 That's not how fps works. It's not like you just press a button and suddenly your pc can render 1000 fps. Your computer has to work to render all those frames; if you have a bad pc, it's not able to render as fast as a high-end computer. It's not like badlion is limiting your fps and it can be changed with a simple option.Last edited on 30 November 2021 - 08:59 PM by space_monkeys_
Every computer works differently and has different amounts of processing power, so if the developers created a configuration that worked on one PC, it might completely crash another computer. There is no one size fits all solution. It takes a few minutes for each user to experiment with settings like BetterFrames, FPS boosts, video settings, disabling some mods, etc. to find a good configuration.

Minecraft Bedrock edition can run on virtually everything (but not Mac and Linux for some reason, which is why I don't play it, along with not being as easy to mod), but Minecraft Java wasn't really designed with performance entirely in mind, and it would be too much work to fix all the issues.Posted on 12 December 2021 - 11:19 AM

Badlion is designed with performance as a huge factor. To make it run more efficiently, you'll have to adjust your settings so you get an optimized version of the game.
For example, the client has Betterframes, an entire section of settings that allow your PC to render less entities so it speeds up your game. Add that to the optimization that Optifine gives you, and you'll get a lot more frames using the client than with vanilla Minecraft.
As I previously stated, there will never be a one-size-fits-all "fix" that works with every computer, because they all run differently.
