Will they shoot anvils as well as tnt ;3Posted on 17 March 2015 - 03:26 AM
I'd like to see a Cannon Duel style ladder (Random range between 16 and 80 blocks, players spawn with 2 stacks of wood, 2 water buckets, and 10 stacks of tnt, they have to craft mounting blovks/buttons to add to the style, and no water placement above 2 blocks off the ground.(Maybe instead of wood to craft shit just let them customize kits)
I'd also like to see an RMCT style archer ladder with a bunh of minimal cover (everywhere can be hit from somewhere), and a 16 block impassible void gap. Maps would be about 24x6 for each side, no speed, leather armor, power 1 bow.

Surround self in blocks, place water on top.Stalemate everytime.
Until you solve this problem I won't even consider it.

All of my yes…aside from the power bow. Enchanting isn't too prevalent in Race For Wool maps until you run resources, which would mean you'd have better armor. The leather armor is more of an early game sort of thing. If RFW maps have early game power bows, they usually have limited durability, so maybe a normal bow with full durability and a power bow with a handful of shots on it.
I remember this sort of ladder suggested before and the main issue brought up was maps. They're so specific that there'd have to be maps put in for just that ladder alone. Getting the maps wouldn't be too much of an issue because of how many RFW maps there are already, it's more a matter of maps being put in that are only played on one ladder

@Archybot Only let players place water 1 block off the ground (Or maybe 2). I'm not sure how you'd code that but it's definitely doable.

Ok, now we have the issue of people finding the cookie cutter build and it just becomes a race to build that. Is that a problem?Posted on 18 March 2015 - 03:55 PM
What do you mean by the cookie cutter build?Posted on 18 March 2015 - 05:06 PM
