We have launched a new feature into the Badlion website named Clans which is now live. The rules for clans can be found in the rules link at the bottom of the website in the footer. There is a temporary rule (1 week from this post it will expire) of Do not steal well known clans/teams names/tags from our network and other networks. You will lose the clan if they file a formal complaint in the Report section. All clan management will be done via the website.Clan settings -
Tag - Short abbreviation of your clan name - 7 character length A-Z 0-9 underscores allowed
Name - Full name of your clan - 32 character length A-Z 0-9 & underscore spaces allowed
Description - Description of your clan - 255 character length, all characters allowed
Phase 1 (now live)
- You may create clans if you are donator plus or higher rank. This is to stop the initial troll/illegal names.
- Anyone may lead a clan, which means a donator plus can pass a clan to a non-donator and he'll have full access to everything to lead the clan.
- All clans will get a private forum which can be accessed on the forums at the top automatically: Example
- Your clan tag shows on the forums on the side.
- Officers may kick/invite/cancel invites in a clan.
- Leaders may demote/promote/kick/invite/cancel invites in a clan.
- Leaders can change leader and change clan tag/name/description.
- People banned in game or on forums have no access to the clan functionality other then passing their clan leadership to someone else for the duration of the ban.
Future Plans (other phases)
- Clan chat in-game (across the network)
- Clan tags shown in game on chat messages
- Being able to mod your own forums, and create more forums.
- Integration into UHC, PVP, and SG gamemodes (clan scrims, clan team battles, etc)
- Stats for both the clans and individual averages.
- Tournaments that are based on clan rosters.
- Achievements/trophies for the clans.

Clans are not a replacement for Factions. Clans can be competitive or for community. Some groups of friends might just want a private place to chat and discuss topics, hence they can get their own miniature forum. Other groups want to do competitive gaming against other clans and we will have support for this stuff soon.
