Introduction

Hello everybody! I'm so glad to present the first big stepping stone for the Badlion Client going forward. In the coming days we will releasing systems that have never been done in a client before so make sure to keep on the look out. First let's talk what the main feature of this update is, "Shaders" we will be working on upgrading this system but we wanted to make sure to give you guys shaders on day 1 of the 1.18 update release so you can enjoy it right away. Make sure to read below to know everything about these new features! You can expect a lot of releases for the client in the month of December so make sure everything goes smooth.



1.18 Shaders/1.18 Day 1 support

On Day 1 of the 1.18 MC release, we will have a basic shaders pack available for everyone to use.

Before I explain how this works, I want to make something clear. This is just a start to our shaders project and we will be working on making the best shaders experience in minecraft in the future, right now it's in it's infancy and we'd love to hear more from you guys to see what you would like to see in this. Please also report any bugs you might encounter so we can have the best experience possible for you guys.

Q: Do you need Optifine to run this shaders?:
A: No this shaders does not require you to have Optifine installed, you will not need it in the future.

Q: What's the plan for the future of shaders on BLC?
A: Currently we have a bunch of ideas regarding Shaders, we don't want to reveal too much but one of them is make shaders take a lot less resources and allow you to run them without much FPS drops as we feel the Optifine shaders are badly optimized. There's a lot more plans for this but I don't want to go in much details.

Currently you can mess around with these settings.

Shadows (on/off) - Sliders for Shadow Resolution/Shadow Render Distance/Shadow Filtering

Waving Plants (on/off) - Slider for Plant Wave Speed

Waving Water (on/off) - Slider for Wave Strength

FPS Boost/FPS Upgrades

We went ahead and ported all of our FPS technologies from 1.8 to our higher versions (Mainly 1.18),

We also ahead more optimizations towards entities so it should help when you have a lot of stuff on your screen.

This FPS topic is very dear to our hearts and it's something we're going to improve on over every update in the near future.

Skyblock Addons

Ability Cooldowns

Ability Cooldowns will give you the option to remove the chat messages and instead give you a timer on screen showing you when you will be able to use the item's ability once again. This is a small Quality of Life feature we added to clean up your chat in a nice way.

Dungeon Blocks Colors

Crystal Hollow Waypoints
With this update, you will now be able to automatically get Crystal Hallow Waypoints to each of their unique locations. Once you join a Crystal Hollows server, the following 5 areas will be marked:
- Jungle
- Goblin Holdout
- Crystal Nucleus
- Mithril Deposits
- Precursor Remnants

We also added support so that once you discover the Jungle Temple, Mines of Divan, Goblin's Queen Deen, Lost Precursor City, Khazad-dum, and the Fairy Grottos.

Be sure to use our Waypoints Mod to add any other waypoint you want.

SpeedoMeter Mod

This is a mod some people have been asking for a while, it basically allows you to see how fast you're going at all times. Want to see the most efficient methods to move around the map? This is the perfect mod for it.

Here's how it looks like:



Particles Colorizer Mod

You can now change the size/color of your particles on command! This mod will be located in the "Particles Mod" and will allow you to mess around and customize your particles as you see fit!



Here you can see how the settings looks like in action, This is the biggest particles you can have currently.

Damage Tint

This mod will render a red vignette around your screen when you reach a certain health threshold. Once you heal back up, it will be removed. We've also added an option for a "Heartbeat" sound to play when you're low!



Here you can see how it looks like. You can have a sound effect when you're low and you can also adjust the volume. The mod is called "Damage Tint".

Misc

ArmorStatus - Added a vanilla Background to the armor pieces similar to how it looks in your inventory!

Coordinates Mod Missing 1.18 biome colors

Scoreboard body text disappears when disabling FPS Boost

Colour Saturation causes issues with rendering certain transparent 3d items

Crosshair dot doesn't render at all

Block Overlay Issues

Cosmetics that can be held disappear when emoting

Voidgloom Crash 1.17.1

Durability Bar is incorrect with enchanting items

Pack tweaks bigger items option not working with item physics 1.18

Blockinfo mod crash 1.18

Lightning Wing Texture is missing

Tech Wings are missing the bottom texture

Perspective Mod sometimes locks movement in place

Removed BLC2 Note In Settings Menu

Opening Inventory when emoting kills FPS

Rainbow effect issue

1.18 Crash Reports

Height Overlay not Updating when disabled

Enchanted item glint interferes with block breaking animation color

1.18 Nametag Icon Issues

Oh boy there's a lot coming to BLC in the coming days/month, I'm not gonna spoil it too much so be patient for the next few days.

We know shaders will have some issues, please let us know of any issues that come up and we'll try to resolve them!

I will keep this short and simple, HUGE updates and features are coming to BLC this month, keep posted.

I wish I could still use Badlion. I was loyal and loved this client. But due to me not being able to upgrade to windows 10 without having my computer fry, it's now impossible for me to use Badlion. I'm forced to switch to lunar due to performance issues with forge, but unfortunately I'll have to stick with it for now.

I really hope that BLC 3 will eventually bring windows 8.1 support so I can come back and continue to enjoy the client

Hey you can edit your GUI by pressing the "pencil" button. You can access this by pressing right shift

Here's the button, it's to the right of the search bar at the top.

I can’t download it.
It says there might be a software interfering.
It says it might be interfering with minecraft/assets/blclient
Error -29

I didn’t really download anything. I can’t find the problem.
Already tried deleting(deinstalled) and reinstalling it.
Still doesn’t work.
If anyone has an Idea of what could be interfering with the update, id be grateful.

Hello. I'm the guy who spent about $300 on the Badlion client. I'm also a member of Insider Rank now. However, my main account, IGN ZeroTrue, was hacked. But I spent a lot of money on that account. Can I transfer the cosmetics from there to my new account? (my new account: zerotru) Please ( ; _ ; ) and I got banned from Bad Lion's Discord server. The reason is that when my Discord account was hacked, it spread to terrorism, but now it has been resolved, please release the van. My discord nickname is '세엽'. Please move the decorations. ZeroTrue -> zerotru And I'm thinking of purchasing a year of Insider Rank right now, so please… I love Badlion client
