I cant play any other versions of minecraft

I'm stuck playing in 1.8.9 and I want to play in 1.17.1 but it says "Launch error Minecraft seems to have crashed. Read more information below." and there's no info below. I've tried restarting the launcher and my macbook but nothing happen's. so how fix?Posted on 19 November 2021 - 05:35 PM
Hello,Can you please reproduce the bug with the version that you were trying to launch and submit a bug report from the bottom of the launcher, then wait for tech support, and please make sure to explain what issue you're facing right now.
