Connect to Server via IP & Port

I'm trying to connect to a server using the Badlion Client. I can connect via my iPhone using the server address and port fields. In the client I can only specify the Server Address. I've tried specifying the address and port via the xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:yyyyy format. That's not working though. I get a "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception" error. Hello,Please make sure that the server where you're trying to log in support java Minecraft or please make sure that you are using the correct one.
Try to put only the numeric IP without the port if you can or the classic IP for example "Hypixel.net" or "us.mineplex.com" and if you put an IP please verify it on a server list to verify if the server is still opened.
If the issue persists please try to log off and log again into the vanilla launcher.

Interesting. It's the Bedrock Edition - is that the same? I can log into the server no problem on an iPad / iPhone, or even XBox. I just have to specify the IP and port 19132. Works great. The server doesn't have any firewalls set up either. Can the Badlion client connect to a Bedrock Edition Server?Posted on 22 November 2021 - 02:42 PM
Hello,I'm not sure that you can use a Bedrock Ip in a Java version.
