Hello!
ive been strugling for about a week now without any sucsses. this is last attempt im doing to get ur product working.
ive clicked the report bug button in client a milion times. it does not seem to do anything. all the guides show how it opens a webpage yet nothing happens for me.
let me explain….

i am running a linux operating system called Pop_OS! so naturaly i used the offical appimage for it.
i used 2 scripts to install it. worked normaly for 2-3 months until it all broke on the 17th i think it was ? i did not change anything. i tried installing lutris version of BLC to get same results. Normal MC client and Lunar both work flawless. so this is BLC sided problem.

it gives me error-27, it does not download default or backup java it apears to me. again ur report bug button does nothing. ur automated emails help me nothing. this is the client i wish to use since it has all i need in one place. but its useless to me if it does nothing.

i alredy made a video showing the issues and trying to run it as "sudo". no awail.
i reinstalled it. no awail.
ive done all the tricks ive learned over the years and none work.

ur my last hope to get this issues solved.

I had the same problem too. Also on popos so try running badlion in a new user account, then go to /home/name/.cache/Badlion Client (or so) / and copy this folder to tge same location in you home folder

i will try in new user right now and let ya know. but rn i dont see any badlion folder in .cache.

so created new test user and gave it "admin" privlege. unhid all folder and checked .cache folder for both with no awail.

So FTamino's fix seemed like it should work. install java on uncorupted system and copy the files over to the damaged account.

so me being stuborn i reloged in back into user "test" i created for it.
i relaunced badlion client again and went into game.
low and behold the "test" user now had the "Badlion Client" folder in /.cache/ so i transfered it to my main account from /home/test/.cache to /home/sparx/.cache

afer i reloged into sparx and launched badlion client it gave me aloot of errors. once those were done showing tho the client launched again. Pop_OS! is probs to blaim here altho not sure why. their APT update happened right on top of this breaking for me.

wanted to detail more but FT explained it nicely and it is a fix. hopefully more people get to see this and it helps em!!
