Obviously you didn't factor in Europe, as 7PM EST would be from 1-3AM for EU. The tournament will also go on for an hour, possibly too, causing people to stay awake to atleast 5AM.

Metro is one person. We can't make it perfect for every single person. We do what is best for the most of the population.
