it's been launching for quite a while now after it's done updating, I don't want to close the launcher because it's just going to update again. I don't know if reinstalling the launcher will work. Pls help

Hello,

This issue is usually caused by something on your side that is blocking Badlion Client connections. Please disable firewall, antivirus, VPN, or anything else that interferes with connections.

If you have used non-premium account launchers & tools before such as TLauncher, MCLeaks, etc, you need to uninstall them, restart your computer, then delete the launcher_accounts.json and usercache.json files from the Minecraft directory, and only then open Badlion Client.

If the same issue persists, you need to delete the broken version files. Please do the following:
1: Open Run by pressing on "Windows+R".
2: Type "%appdata%".
3: Go to ".minecraft" and then open the "versions" folder.
4: Now open the folder that contains the broken version:
- If you are using the Insider Beta, then open the "INSIDER3" folder.
- If you are not using the Insider Beta, then open the "PRODUCTION3" folder.
5: Now delete the Minecraft folders of the broken version such as "1.8.9".
6: Restart your PC
7: Open Badlion Client.
