Increase of ram usage when playing

So I was playing minecraft (as usual) and then my pc fans went up fast. So I checked task manager and saw McAfee doing stuff so I ignored it. BUT I saw minecraft running at 4gb (for no reason) and it is usually 2.3g, how unexpected…This MAY not be a bug. I just got curious so don't expect if it is a bug
EDIT: When I went on hypixel. it raised to 2.8gb, idk if it will on hypixel skyblock
EDIT 2: It only went to 3gb on skyblock

Hello,How much ram did you set in the Badlion Settings?

2048MB and that is final. It automatically set it. I could set it to like 3gb anywaysI had 2.3gb on start then I logged in to hypixel then skyblock and it raised to 3.3gb
2.3gb in title screen, 2.8gb when I joined skyblock, 3.3gb when I went to some where

Hello,That is the memory usage, that is not related to the RAM that you set in the Badlion Client settings.

But why does it keep using more while running when it does not increase in the memory mod
