Introduction

So for those of you who have not yet read the other OCN Tournament thread, Badlion Network is launching it's own Soup PvP server in a week from today (being released March 28th). There has been a large number of requests from the community to introduce a Soup PvP Server to our network for a long time, and we have finally sat down and taken the time to start building it. Most of the features are built up at the moment, and a few things are still being finalized.

Some Features
- Not Pay2Win like most other Soup Servers. Everything can be unlocked using an ingame currency that we are calling "tokens"
- Will have 1v1 Ranked matches (best of three) with various ladders [ladders still being confirmed]
- Will have multiple unranked queues (best of one) for the various types of kits we will be offering.
- A VERY large FFA with a bunch of unique kits that can be unlocked with tokens.
- Party matches will be incorporated into the system as well, aka there will be 2v2 queues also. Can do custom larger matches as you can on the Potion PvP Server.
- LMS and War are going to be in the system also. Are you ready for all out crazy fights? We are! (Slaughter will be re-worked and then later added)
- Full website integration (check through your Match history like you can do on the Potion PvP Server)

What is the token system?

For anyone who has played League of Legends this will be very similar to their "Influence Point" system. You earn tokens by playing on the server in ranked matches, and in the FFA map (maybe unranked matches too, not 100% sure yet). You can then spend these tokens to unlock things ingame such as better FFA kits, more ranked matches, etc.

Donator Packages

Based on our research in the Soup community and our own community we sat down and figured out the best system for donator packages. You have to understand as a player that less than 1% of our community donates to our servers. These people are the ones who help keep Badlion Network alive, and we thank you for your contributions. Instead of doing a "donator" rank we have decided to make everything unlockable through the "token" system. This includes buying extra ranked matches, unlimited ranked matches, a colored name, FFA kits, etc as mentioned above.

Anyone who wants to donate to the SoupPvP server will be able to either buy one of two things to help speed up their progression to unlocking everything: (1) Tokens, for flat values of USD we will sell a certain amount of tokens (2) Token multipliers (earn 2x, 3x the number of tokens ingame).

Conclusion

This concludes my post for the Soup Server. I hope I have given a good explanation as to how the server will work and be looking for a post tomorrow with a tournament sign up. We will be hosting a tournament for our new Soup Server on April 6th (day after OCN tournament). Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
