Why is badlion still using optifine? It would guve so much perfirmance if it would use sodium and fir shader support iris!

Whilst this is true, the license to use Sodium and Phosphur is not viable for BLC as it would require some code to become public I believe. So at this stage, we are stuck with OF.

We are constantly working on improving performance though and one day we want to have better performance than Sodium/OF and any other performance boosting mods/clients.
