I think I remember one of them saying they wanted to make a game.I always wondered if they would make a badlion client, so they would know people aren't using a hacked client or if they just wanted everyone to be using a similar thing for example no xray or tracers for uhc & no potion/armour status for certain pot pvp fights or tournaments or something

Gonna go ahead and point a few things out here.
Without Donating you can:
-Play 10 ranked matches a day
-Play 20 ranked matches a day if you sign up on the forums
-Play 40 ranked matches a day if you vote
-Play 40+ ranked matches a day if you have Donator+ friends
-Freely play any of the FFAs, including soup
-Freely play the unranked ladders offered
-Freely play Factions(when it's up)
-Chance to get into UHCs
-Freely play the constant events going
With Donator you can:
-Play unlimited ranked matched
-Bypass UHC whitelist
-A few cosmetics like name color/etc
Quite frankly you need to come to terms with everything in life isn't free. The Devs spend countless hours coding to make the server be able to function with 3,000 players on it, and have fun gameplay for everyone to enjoy. There's is no donator only server, or anything that makes Badlion restricted to where you HAVE to pay to play. Granted single hosted UHC games non donators have a less chance of getting into, there's nothing a donator can do that a non donator cannot in terms of actual gameplay. Buying Minecraft itself doesn't make everything you do in the game free, sure you can play single player, but even if you want Realms it costs $$$. Badlion is far from free to keep running, and the few perks offered that people donate for are what keep the server running.
You think thats all on 1 cheap little box? That's just UHCs alone -.-
I'm not calling you out specifically with this little rant, I've seen a few people ingame say Badlion is money hungry and the owners are making bank.
Maybe they get a little money in their pocket, can't really say. But Devs with the experience they have deserve a shit ton for their work and I guarentee they don't make it off of Badlion. Badlion is one of the few servers I can say actually cares about their non donators. Which is why NA Potion 2 was created, and more UHCs are being hosted. Badlion treats their donators, the same as they treat the non donators. It's just donators are what keep the server up and running, and they do deserve perks for it. So If they get in a UHC game that a non donator doesn't, well thats unfortunate, but they deserve it.
So please, before you call Badlion pay to play, step back and look at other servers.
