when i try to launch anything above 1.12.2 it will say its running but nothing will pop up. for reference I'm playing on an imac.

Hey alaii_,
Make sure to do the following steps:
  - Locate your .minecraft Folder
  - Navigate to .minecraft/versions/BLClient/PRODUCTION3
  - Delete the corresponding version folder for the version you are trying to launch, e.g "1.8.9"
  - Restart your PC
  - Try to launch it again.
Also make sure any firewalls, VPNs, anti viruses, 3rd party authenticators, or similar are not blocking any Badlion client connections.
If that doesn't help submit a bug report from the bottom of the launcher, and explain the issue.
