Whenever I Launch 1.16.5 or any new version of minecraft it will just stay as "Running" instead of opening minecraft.
Could someone help with this?

Can you please submit a bug report from the bottom of the launcher? We will ensure to look into the issue there, with more information and logs.

Once you will submit the report make sure to check sometimes if a Tech support member replied to you.
