Ive had a problem eversince i got badlion (just recently),the moment it installed I launched the game (1.8.9) and then loaded up a world, the instant I loaded in I noticed that every mob (but a snow golem) was invisible, then I logged on to Hypixel and every player and entity was still invisible, but just prior I was on default minecraft with optifine and everything was just fine. Keep in mind this is 1.8.9

I found out that if I get right next to certain entitys they render in perfectly until you walk away about 1 block away from it

Can you please submit a bug report at the bottom of the launcher after reproducing the issue that you're facing? Once you've done a tech support member will be back to you as soon as possible.
