I see you now no longer accept first person video evidence as proof of cheating, this although a giant leap in the right direction leads to the same problem. With the way minecraft updates player animation and how the players own connection and client dictates what is visually seen on the screen makes ANY form of video proof null. Video evidence should only be an indication to watch individuals or further investigate a players actions. A properly configured no cheat plus is a more accurate and fail safe way of banning offenders. I will tell you that from my few days on the server i see a HUGE problem with players using auto click macros and potion macros. By implementing an autokick, via violation level for fight.speed offenders over a certain threshold you will drastically reduce the number of cheaters on the server and make it a much more friendly place to compete.Posted on 24 March 2014 - 11:47 PM

Yea but ncp doenst lieMaybe in some cases were the player is lagging but still you say there is mods here for a reason?
More than half are trigger happen when it comes to bans hopefully now that they have listened to me with the NCP violation lvels with speed/reach/swing many more will be banned.
Its my understanding that the server never had NCP turned on dunno if thats 100% true or not

Ncp has a built in way of discerning false positives from real evidence. ncp not only records violations and the level in witch they are received but also provides a total average for each violation a player receives, with experience and proper configuration of the plugin on any server you can be sure that the player you are banning is 100% cheating. As for the auto kick.. NO amount of lag will ever produce the same VL as someone using an autoclicker at 1000 clicks per second.Posted on 25 March 2014 - 01:04 AM

NCP does lie. End of story there lol. If I wanted to I could make a hacked client that would get around 90% of the checks NCP does.

This post is pointless. Auto-kicking those with high Violation levels is a terrible idea because as MasterOGberry states, lag can reproduce the results, thus leading a possibility to players losing Elo unfairly. Hendo0o, as for your statement, it's invalid. NCP is so untrustworthy, I don't think we've ever actually found a person who had errors that was hacking. This is why master is continuing his OG Anti-Hack custom plugin which actually detects what it's supposed to. It doesn't work for everything, but it WILL tell us when someone is hacking (but in the event of there being a chance of lag, we mods make sure the system is correct on the spot)Posted on 25 March 2014 - 01:35 PM

Statstv you're an idiot, I've seen people banned from your server while streaming or recording, plus you can pay to be unbanned from your server twice you guys even ban people just to get unban money. It is true that he made me get off my sleepy ass at 7:30 AM in the morning and work on this autoclicker crap…not a fun wake up call. I even had to get Archybot online to help tweak the settings more >_> Regardless don't be aggressiveness towards the mods/staff hendo0o or statstv. It will not end well for either of you if I see continuous aggression at them. They are volunteers here, remember that.

And don't get me started about your "world record" of 12 CPS. There is no official world record and a simple search on the internet finds 20+ CPS videos with mouse view, so if I hear you and your friends circlejerking about 12 CPS you're going to receive 7 day mutes each time I hear it.
