As you guys know (even with this "new" host) it's been lagging like a ant sucking a big fat donkey dick. I was just wondering if it's possibly G-Cheat because i've come to notice that ever since it was added in this server has been quite a disappointment. I was wondering if you guys could test it like maybe take it out for one day possibly and if it doesn't lag can you like consider FUCKING BURNING IT. Thanks @MasterGberryPosted on 28 March 2015 - 12:29 AM
With the old host, every time I logged on, I was in the "you're lagging" part of spawn. With the new host, I haven't been down there once, which means there is no true lag on the server. That leads me to think that this new host is handling the players great, but it might be badlion itself that is creating the lag (Possibly g-cheat as Reasto said).Posted on 28 March 2015 - 12:36 AM
Did you just say GCheat is a disappointment? Are you high? It's the best thing to ever happen to the server!Posted on 28 March 2015 - 12:58 AM
Isn't Gcheat, already checked, I ran it one day with it disabled and the lag spikes were still there.Posted on 28 March 2015 - 01:09 AM

Tbh, I know nothing about servers, NOTHING. All I know, is that the laggspikes started since AU was implemented, could it be something w/ them causing too much ram? Again, I have no idea.

If you know nothing don't make assumptions, because your post makes no sense at all - it's like you just threw a bunch of words together.
I have my suspicions on what it is, but I have to take the whole network down for 5 minutes to enable me to be able to check.

In my opinion @Archybot you should test and take all the time to fix the server , I prefer not playing for some days while you are fixing it, than playing a laggy server

+1 need to find a way to fix this, just try cutting out some plugins and see what happens

We have a few ideas, we are still working through them 1 by 1.We know for a fact that there were latency issues to the data center as well with a lot of players. I was dropping packets badly too.

@MasterGberry,I'll be honest here. I have no pot lag or teleporting lag whatsoever, the only lag that I always get especially when there are 1000 players is major hit delay. I also believe there are some people that get hit delay and pot lag.

It's literally impossible…like I can't think of a single reason this would cause any strain.

EU Servers started to lag alot lately when there is ton of people on.Posted on 28 March 2015 - 09:33 PM
I've noticed EU has been laggy, its only started very recently. When it does lag, its only players? The chat still works perfectly.Posted on 29 March 2015 - 03:20 AM
Has anyone else noticed all the lag has been after this supposed "net-neutrality pass." I think the admins should check up on this!Posted on 29 March 2015 - 09:52 AM

AU has not made your ms double. They are different servers completely! On opposite sides of the world of one another!

Coincidence? I think not.
TBH I don't think that's the issue. Although I live in Australia and the new host has made not only my ping a little better but it has also reduced my latency. Are any AU players experiencing lag to NA servers or is it just EU/NA that is experiencing the lag?
