Hypixel keeps disconnecting and when i try reconnecting it says connection interrupted or server hostname not resolved. I reconnected my internet and even restarted my pc and it takes an average of 4-20 minutes of waiting and retrying for it to reconnect and 12 minutes later it disconnects again, but when i play on the normal minecraft launcher 1.8.9 optifine it doesnt disconnect at all.

We are sorry to hear that you're facing this issue. To try to provide you with the best solution for the issue we just need a couple of more information. Did you try to connect Hypixel with the main IP? (mc.hypixel.net:25565) I saw that you say: "when i play on the normal minecraft launcher 1.8.9 optifine it doesn't disconnect at all." Can you try to disconnect your account from the alt list and connect it again? Do you have anything that can interfere with or block the connection of the client? (VPN, antivirus or firewall, etc..)
