Stuck in opening blc

This happened to me a few days ago. When i open blc, it says "checking for client update" and then "update available, pls wait"then it disappeared.I waited but it didnt open. i tried many times deleting and re-downloading the client, but it didnt work. Then i tried to stop blc task in the task manager, and i re-open it. but that doesnt work.Only if it says "failed to checck for client update" can i open the blc.I really want some suggestions from everyone and staff.

btw i tried to do a clean uninstall and reinstall. it did work. It started downloading after i open blc, but when downloading, it said an javascript error occured in the main process. Then it disappeared. When i reopened blc it said update available pls wait again.Help plz
