Stalking on UHC
So I have a question for UHC. In the beginning of UHC's, host says it's allowed to stalk regular players but not YouTubers or Twitchers. How's that fair ? I mean, most of them, when they are playing for example SG and get rushed on, they say all they want is to get treated as regular players. Why do then they get mad if they get stalked ? I got stalked and rushed on so many times and so what ? It's my personal opinion, so people please don't attack me or anything.

Stalking is arguably an ineffective tactic, not many people will do it, but the mindset is if they see someone with 250k subs, they just like to get negative attention by ruining their day.

But wouldn't they ruin my day also ?

Yes but they don't really care about ruining your day, they just want to ruin famous people's day to get attention.

So why are Youtubers/Streamers allowed not to be stalked yet us normal REGULAR players are allowed? Its just not fair whatsoever if it applies for one it should apply for all

because if it was allowed to stalk famous people, dfield and huahwi will each get 10 stalkers that will follow him, and basicly they will target the shit out of them.

It's not easy to find a player on a map that is big as Badlion's UHC maps. Today I got killed half a minute after PVP was enabled, and I was fucking pissed but I couldn't do anything about it.

If they want to be treated as normal people, expect everything regular players experience

Regular players don't get stalked by every single person in the map. Yes some people are assholes and like to stalk, welp if you're cautious you get full armor while they're wasting their time keeping an eye on you. You kill them. 15 minutes into the game if someone sees you and starts stalking you, well GG. Even this applies to famous players. The rule applies generally in the first few minutes because EVERYONE stalks famous players. That's NOT experiencing the same thing as a regular player. What armor was the guy in who killed you? If iron that means he was able to mine, smelt, and craft, all while stalking you? I think not, he got lucky and found you minutes into the game after achieving this stuff. Or you were too careless and let him keep an eye on you all while doing this. The sneak key is your friend in UHC.

This is life, deal with it.

It's impossible with say 350 people to regulate.

I wish we could make a rule against it, but it would be so hard to enforce.
That said, that hasn't stopped us from making rules before. Thoughts @sluttycow?

It would be near impossible to enforce.
The thing is, if xxBigdfieldfanboy finds dfield, he'll ultimately stalk him. But I don't know many xxbigHyperrfanboy. They have to deal with it constantly, and they are continually helping the server. It's too difficult to enforce, and near impossible. If you're being stalked just get geared up by the 20 minute mark.

I'll use dfield as an example - I watch dfield sometimes when he streams. One day, I'm watching him and he's getting stalked + harassed + blocks being broken around him. This isn't fun for dfield, and it isn't fun for the 5000 people watching him. When you stalk a famous person, you aren't just ruining his experience, you're ruining the 100-1000+'s of people watching whoever is famous at the time being harassed. We don't do it for the "famous person," we do it for the people watching them to be entertained. Instead of having to always check to see if they are recording or streaming, it's easier for us just to say: "Do not harass/stalk famous people"

Hyper, try to be in dfield's place and think about it. Wouldn't it get annoying people stalking you, that too while recording / steaming? Look at it from their perspective :)
