Hi! I'm new to this site and I want to join a UHC. How do I join? Sorry if this is a silly question. Thanks for your help!

You wait until the scheduled time, then you join the server. They usually full almost instantly.
Most hosts unwhitelist with time.is

Hello @LemonPillow55 ! Welcome to the server! I am one of the mods around here :)

We have lots of UHC games happening 24/7 by a variety of hosts (including myself!).

In the lobby you would have seen a Golden Apple in your hotbar - right click this and a GUI will open up with about 10 other gapples - each is a different UHC server. Look on the calender and then, using time.is , click the correct gapple (either Eu1/2/3/4, NA1/2/3/4 or AU1/2 ) and you should be able to join!

Keep in mind, we have lots of donators who play our games, and they have the privilege to join prior to the whitelist.
