a previous thread also suggested this but the user never ellaborated as the devs asked him to with specifics so me being someone who agrees, ill give details:

the mining speed boost is a popular mining ability used on mining islands in hypixel skyblock, that lasts a few seconds with a 2 minute cooldown. when the ability can be used again, the user gets a message in chat, but given the chat is usually flooded in skyblock, its hard to see. so a big message or alert on screen would be great for when the cooldown has passed. thank you.

maybe also/instead, there could also be a timer on screen or something of that nature
